We started with the prefix LEEGRGO.

It was my husband John who said we have to have these cats, just as pets.  Well we ended up with a breeding girl named Milais Fluer and two entire males which were brothers.

​

​We kept one of the boys as a stud cat and the other we had neutered and he was a pet along with our two domestics.

​

My aim is to breed the best of the breed, with lovely natures, and to have them go to loving homes. My cats, are my babies even the big kids.

​

I started a tabby line under the prefix BIRPUR in the early 1990's, and I am happy to say we have had some lovely kittens over the years.

​

Our cattery has been NZ Cat Fancy Accredited whic means, we as a cattery meet the health and hygiene specifications set out by the NZCF and has been checked and approved.

​

Over my 26 years as a breeder we have had some great show results.  We have won three National Shows, our first ever tabby sone a National Show.  Many Best in Shows, and have featured in the  region awards.
